All our instructors are IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization ) approved instructors, with many years experience of teaching Kitesurfing in Tarifa.
WHAT IS KITESURFING?
Kiteboarding or kitesurfing, if you didn´t already know, is like snowboarding, skateboarding or wakeboarding on water. Instead of having someone else pull you around in a boat, or needing to hit the slopes or the skatepark imagine having that power in your own hands in the form of a steady wind powering up a large kite.
KITESURFING EQUIPMENT
KITES
Traditional kites are known as Type C comets because of their form of C. These kites are usually used with a bar of 5 lines or 4 lines.
They are more like comets specificed freestyle, tricks for desganchados by deepower minimum at the bar they have.
To be fair these kites are more for advanced people and pro-kite.
Bow kites have a greater wind range than C-kites.
This makes the bow kites more suitable for beginners in kitesurfing, however, are also used by professionals.
Bow kites are used in a variety of kite related sports, including kitesurfing and snowkiting.
Delta kites shape are one of most new kites on the market. Used with 4 line bar and are specialized for waveriding for its speed in the turns.
Relaunching of the water easily and have some good hangtime on the jumps.
It is a kite that can use a beginner in kitesurfing but also an advanced kiter.
